The downward market movement of the $SPX turned into a "V" pattern this week after dipping below the 100-day moving average (MA) last week. From it's recent high, the $SPX declined approximately 5.9%.
So as I mentioned three weeks ago on February 22, market action signaled a pause in taking long positions and the trend indicators have continued to signal a down trend.
